PCA (Printed Circuit Assembly)

The PCA is essentially the 'brain' of the printer. A Main PCA failure (often indicated by system error codes like 01.0) is one of the most critical hardware issues. Replacement typically requires a certified technician and can be costly, but is often more economical than purchasing a new printer for high-end models. The Carriage PCA is a separate board mounted on the carriage assembly that controls printhead operations.
