Saturation Pass
Print SettingsDefinition
An additional printing pass that increases ink density in areas requiring deeper colors or higher coverage.
In-Depth Explanation
Higher pass counts generally produce better print quality at the cost of speed. A 4-pass mode is typical for draft quality, 8-pass for normal, and 12-16 passes for best quality. More passes allow each layer of ink to partially dry before the next layer is applied, reducing cockling and improving color density. The optimal number of passes depends on the media type and desired quality.
